The most important service we provide is comprehensive keyword research. This keyword research helps us identify the best possible keywords to target in our SEO and PPC campaigns. Without this keyword research you are effectively flying blind; it is imperative that it is done if your site is to have any hope of competing on the web.
We use a number of software platforms to generate this research. Some of the factors we consider when deciding on the best potential keywords to target are.
- Keyword relevance generally decided upon in consultation with our clients. We examine the primary keywords and semantically related keywords, to best identify those that are most relevant to your products or services.
- Traffic volume the higher the traffic searching for that keyword the more potential visitors you can obtain by targeting it.
- Conversion potential. Some keywords lead to conversions far more readily. It is important that keywords are chosen that are more likely to be profitable to our clients.
Competition Analysis
Normally conducted in conjunction with keyword research, we assess and rate the existing competition for your chosen keywords. This process is achieved by an in depth analysis of the top 10 ranking pages on Google, for your chosen keywords. We rate these pages according to a number of SEO factors, both on and off page.
Through this research we are best able to identify weaknesses in your competitor’s campaigns. Conversely if your competitor is particularly strong it provides us with an opportunity to reverse engineer what they are doing and replicate it in our own campaign.
Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
Maximising your organic search engine results is the primary aim of SEO. We do this by optimising your on page SEO factors and off page SEO factors. The higher you rank in organic results, the greater the volume of organic traffic that will visit your site.
Our initial aim is to get you to page one of the Google Search Engine Results Pages (SERPs).
Once on page one our efforts are then focused on pushing your site as far up page one as possible.
